The Children's section is extremely busy, so please read our tips and guidelines to help you and your fellow library users benefit from the resources available. Babies - 3 to 18 months old

Enjoy sharing songs and rhymes with your baby in an interactive and stimulating environment. Baby Bounce & Rhyme is designed especially for the 3 to 18 month age group with parent participation and engagement essential. Baby Bounce & Rhyme is held on Wednesdays at 10.30 am during school terms.

Toddlers - 18 to 36 months old

Come along and join this interactive programme of singing, actions, rhymes and stories. Toddler Time is designed especially for children aged 18 to 36 months and parent participation is essential. Toddler Time is held on Mondays at 10.30am during school terms.

Pre-Schoolers - 3 to 5 years old

Pre-school Storytime

Enjoy stories, songs and craft at Pre-School Storytime. Pre-school Storytime is a programme designed especially for 3-5year olds. It is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10.30am during school terms. Find out how to make the most of Storytime - download the PDF ‘Make the most of storytime'.

School Aged Children - 8 to 12 years old

Wednesday  Club

Come and join in after school activities to create unique creations from recycled items. Held on Wednesdays from 3.45pm-4.45pm during school terms. School Holidays

Every School Holidays the Library runs activities for School aged children. The Holiday programme is circulated in house and online. Bookings open 3 weeks before the holidays start - book early as spaces fill up fast!  During the School Holidays the regular Childrens activities take a break.

The Summer Reading Club is a national yearly event. Registrations open from December and run until the end of January.  If you are in pre-school, primary or secondary (high) school, you can register at Manly Library to get your reading activity packs.
