Manly Resident Card

The Manly Resident Card provides parking for up to 3 continuous hours (per day) in only ONE of Councils Parking Stations being the Manly National, Pacific Waves, Peninsular or Whistler Street from 7am to 7pm.

Am I Eligible to Apply?

  • Manly owner occupiers or the tenants of each rateable residential address in Manly are eligible to apply.
  • The Manly Resident Card program only applies to residential properties, not commercial properties.

How Many Resident Cards Can I Apply For?

  • There is a maximum of 1 Manly Resident Card per property. No additional Cards are permitted.

What Information Do I Need to Apply?

  • Owner occupiers (ratepayers): rates notice and either driver licence or vehicle registration (at the same address).
  • Tenants: current tenancy agreement (lease) and either driver licence or vehicle registration (at the same address).

What is the Cost of Manly Resident Card?

Based on current fees and charges, the cost of Manly Resident Card is as follows:

  • Purchase fee for all residents - $42.00 (inc GST).
  • Replacement fee applies for lost or damaged Card - $46.00 (inc GST).

How do I Apply for Manly Resident Card?

  • Apply online simply click on the link below 'APPLY ONLINE HERE' this will take you to our online application site where you can complete and submit your application.
  • Apply offline by downloading and completing the application forms below and lodging to Council with the correct documentation. You can lodge applications by email, mail, fax or in person. Application forms are available at Customer Service. 
Please allow up to 2 weeks processing time (includes all methods of application) for your Manly Resident Card to be posted to your mailing address.

You will need the following information on hand to help you successfully submit an application for a Manly Resident Card:

  • Rates Notice & Driver Licence OR Vehicle Registration (required for Owner Occupiers).
  • Current Tenancy Agreement (Lease) and Driver Licence OR Vehicle Registration (required for Tenants).
  • Credit Card to process payment.

APPLY OFFLINE: By Downloading Application Forms

To apply offline, please download and print the relevant application forms (below):

Lodge your completed Manly Resident Card Application Form and Credit Card Payment Authorisation and supporting documents to Manly Council by any of the methods listed (below):

  • By Email: to records@manly.nsw.gov.au the application form, supporting documentation and credit card payment authorisation form.
  • By Mail: to Manly Council PO Box 82 MANLY NSW 1655 the application form, supporting documentation and credit card payment authorisation form. or cheque (made payable to Manly Council).
  • By Fax: to 02 9976 1400 the application form, supporting documentation and credit card payment authorisation form.
  • Apply in Person: logde your application at Council’s Customer Centre located at 1 Belgrave Street Manly from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Application forms are available at Customer Service. Applications take up to 2 weeks to process. 

NOTE: All documents submitted by residents should be at the same address. Please allow up to 2 weeks processing time for your Manly Resident Card to be posted to your mailing address.

Card Validity

  • Council's Public Parking Stations: Manly Resident Cards are only valid in the Manly National, Pacific Waves, Peninsula and Whistler Street parking stations. 
  • If you park for under 3 hours, no fee is charged.
  • Stays of more than 3 hours parking will attract full fees, with no discount. If you park over 3 hours you will be charged the full 3 hour fee, plus the fee for every part hour beyond that. If you park for a total of 4 hours, you will be charged the full fees for 4 hours and the 3 hours free parking will not apply. No eligible discount. 
  • Expiry Dates: Cards are valid for (12) months. The fee is a one-off payment.
  • Renewals: You will need to revalidate your Card annually with Manly Council. Council will contact you when your card needs to be revalidated.
  • Changing Address: If you are changing your address within Manly, please contact Council to have your details updated. 
  • Leaving Manly Council Area: you must notify Council in advance of moving.

Terms & Conditions of Card Use

All Manly Resident Cards remain the property of Manly Council and are not to be re-sold. Any misuse of a Manly Resident Card will result in the Card being cancelled. These conditions and fees may change without notice.
